Jessica Wood to join Access to Justice Committee
Jessica Wood was asked to join an Access to Justice Committee that will craft a State Bar pro bono campaign. The Committee will continue the work started by Good Thinking, Inc., a volunteer creative service organization that serves non-profits. Good Thinking gathered teams of attorneys, designers, and copywriters to identify key challenges and opportunities for pro bono recruitment. Jessica served as Co-Captain of one of six teams that proposed campaign themes, taglines, and other creative approaches. Jessica also serves on the State Bar’s Wellness Committee, focusing on physical health.

Harry Winograd will join the 2016 faculty of Emory University School of Law’s Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques Program to be held April 30 through May 6. Harry will join an elite group of more than 120 jurists, practitioners, and legal scholars from across the United States and foreign jurisdictions, including Mexico, to teach in the prominent program which, over the course of three decades, has launched some of the nation’s leading trial lawyers and judges.
Harry is recognized by his peers as an AV attorney by Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating available); a 10 out of 10 by Avvo; a Georgia Super Lawyer in Atlanta Magazine from 2004-2016, and Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite.” His practice areas include business litigation, employment, trade secrets, and restrictive covenants.

Managing e-Discovery Requests, Objections & Other Fun Stuff
Harry J. Winograd served as a panelist for “The New Rule 34(b): Managing e-Discovery Requests, Objections & Other Fun Stuff,” a continuing legal education event on February 25, 2016. The recently amended federal rule governs discovery of electronically stored information.
Harry concentrates on business litigation with an emphasis on trial practice. He has represented clients on court matters in sixteen (16) states, appearing in state and federal courts and arbitration. Harry authored the Limited Liability Company and Partnership Litigation chapter in Georgia Business Litigation, and he also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Trial Techniques Program at Emory University School of Law.
