Alternative Dispute Resolution/Arbitration/Mediation

Solving clients' problems requires a variety of methods in addition to litigating through the court system. We strive for ways to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including mediation, arbitration, and early case evaluation is but one additional tool we use to accomplish the clients' goals.

ADR is often available even in the absence of a prior agreement. We also work with our business clients to incorporate ADR provisions into their contracts where appropriate, such as the American Arbitration Association's forum procedures.

We acknowledge that litigation is often time consuming and expensive, and a court battle does not always serve our clients' best interests. Our experience finding creative solutions is demonstrated over the years, as several of our litigators are retained by other law firms to serve as Arbitrators and Mediators in their firm's clients' cases.
